Sessions & Investment

Portraits Sessions are as unique as the person being photographed. I love getting to know my clients so I can create a one-of-a-kind experience for each and every one of them!

Portrait Sessions are $200 and include:
  • 1.5-2 hours of coverage at location(s) of your choice. This allows for clothing changes as well as minor location changes.
  • 45 Hand-edited images. Following your session, your photos will be placed in a password protected online viewing gallery, where you may order prints and products directly from the professional print lab that I personally use for my landscape and competition prints. Following your order, you will also receive a disk of high resolution digital prints with rights to reproduce.
  • Retainer Fee: $100. This fee is a non-refundable deposit to hold your session date and time. While the retainer fee is non-refundable, your session can be rescheduled should the need to cancel arise. This payment is due at the time of booking and can be made via Square.com. Payment link will be provided with invoice. Remaining balance is due at the time of session, but can be paid in advance  with retainer fee (please let me know when booking if you would like to utilize this option).
Mini Sessions:

A few times throughout the year, I will host themed Mini-Sessions. These special sessions are usually between 15-20 minutes long and are a fraction of the cost while maintaining the value of a full session. The themes vary throughout the year, and may be decided by the locale (i.e. Irwin Gardens, Anderson Falls, Brown County State Park), time of year (i.e. spring, summer, autumn, winter), or just something fun I want to capture (i.e. lemonade stand, superheros). This is great for those that don’t have a lot of time on their hands, but want to have professional portraits taken. Mini-Sessions are ideal for individuals, couples, and small families (no more than 5 people). These sessions will be posted on the JTPA Facebook page as they become available- “like” the page so you receive updates!

Meet Joanna

IMG_20160624_0706262Hi there! My name is Joanna Tucker and I am a landscape and portrait photographer in South Central Indiana.

I loved all forms of art growing up as a child- drawing, painting, sculpting, photography- but my love for photography took center stage when I was in college. I eventually upgraded my simple point & shoot camera to a Nikon DSLR and began devoting my spare time in honing my craft, capturing the beauty I find in the world, and sharing my work with others.

Over the past ten years, I have participated in a variety of competitions in addition to operating a natural light, on-location photography business with a focus on family portraiture and landscapes. Some awards, features, and displays I have been fortunate enough to receive and partake in include:

Published:

  • Indiana at 200: A Celebration of the Hoosier State, M.T. Publishing (October 2015)
  • HSJOnline.org (June 2015)
  • Hope Star Journal (January 2014; July 2014)
  • The Republic (2009)

Website Features:

  • Hope Heritage Days (2016)
  • Hoosier Debate (2016)
  • Southern Willow Photography (2014)
  • Light Inspired (2014)

Competitions & Awards:

  • Indiana State Fair (2014– 3rd Place)
  • Bartholomew County Fair (2016– Champion; 2014– Grand Champion, 3x Champion, 2x Reserve Champion)
  • Johnson County Fair (2013– Grand Champion, Champion, & Reserve Champion; 2012– Champion)
  • Vigo County Fair (2010– Champion, 2009– 1st Place, Honorable Mention)

Public Displays:

  • Jana Jones Photographie, LLC Studio & Gallery, Hope, IN (2016)
  • Popportunity Gourmet Popcorn, Columbus, IN (2015)
  • Ethos Art Show, Franklin, IN (2011)

On a more personal note, I am a graduate of Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus and am the former Board of Directors President at our local community center. In my spare time, I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen, letting my imagination run wild with a good book, rocking out to new and old tunes alike, and spending time with my police officer husband, our new baby, and the gigantic “fur” child named Gandalf the Gray.

I hope you enjoy my work and would love to hear your feedback! Feel free to leave a comment or send me a message on Facebook- www.FB.com/joannatuckerart.
